Fall has fallen and I couldn't be more happy! I absolutely love fall. Yes summer has come to end and winter is approaching but there is so much to love about the fall. It's one of the reasons why I love living in Michigan! We enjoy going to cider mills and apple orchards, not to mention Halloween! It's one of my favorite holidays! I even have a Halloween tree decorated with fall and halloween ornaments! Ryan points to it and says "thaaaaattt" and he loves when it is turned on so he can look at the lights!
This past weekend we visited a cider mill that we've never been to before. It was cold and breezy but we were together as a family. Ryan sat on Joey's lap and we all sat around and drank cider and ate cinnamon and sugar donuts! To me it was the perfect fall moment. One I have waited for for a very long time. It made me so happy to look over at my little boy's cinnamon and sugar covered face knowing he is our child. It was just one of those moments when I took the time to appreciate just how lucky I am. Greatest husband, greatest son, and greatest season all rolled into one = Perfect!

Home Six Months!
Today marks the 6 Month Anniversary of us walking off that plane from Korea as a family of three! Ryan couldn't be happier about it!
It's crazy to me that we've been home for six months but at the same time it feels like life has always been this way. At this point, I sometimes have a difficult time remembering what life was without Ryan. The only thing I do remember is that I wasn't as happy as I am now. Although Ryan is very "strong-willed" he is such a happy, funny, sweet, loving little boy who is loving his life as a almost 16 month old! It's been the best 6 months of our lives and we are so happy to be a family of three. It's a minor milestone is our lives but definitely one worth celebrating!

15 Months
15 months....REALLY?!?! I'm having a hard time believing that our little peanut is 15 months old today. Some days he is so much more like a toddler than a baby and to be honest, it makes me a little sad. I can't believe that when we saw his picture for the first time 10 months ago today he was only 4 months!!!!! We do however, love how much happier and sillier he has become and how funny his personality is. He makes me laugh pretty much every day because of how funny he is. I am enjoying my time as a stay at home mom more and more each day and feel truly blessed that I am able to do so. What a joy it is to spend my time with such a fun loving little boy. Don't get me wrong...he has his moments and is beginning to test my patients.
Ryan is a busy little boy who is discovering the world around him with each week bringing something new and exciting. Here's what Ryan has been up to...
*He loves playing with his trucks....still his favorite toys to play with. He makes awesome truck noises too!
*His walking is quickly turning into a run!
*He weighs in at a whopping 21 pounds!
*He is 29.5 inches....grew an inch since June!
*He follows me every where all day....even when Joey is home he will still follow me even if I get up to grab a tissue.
*He is still in love with Elmo/Sesame Street but has also discovered a love for good ole Barney!
*He has discovered spinning around in circles
*He is very attached to both his monkey and blanket! If he has his blanket, but not his monkey he looks around and says "eee" for Monkey.
*Some new words he is saying....eee (Monkey), Ba, ba (bye-bye), Sssssthat (What's that), Wow, Ball, Yeah, and YAY!!!!!
*If you ask him what a snake does he says, Ssssssss!
*His most frequent words are Uh-Ah, Ball, and Yeah.
*He has started throwing tantrums...this is fun. He let's out a scream just before he throws himself on the ground.
*He loves Cooper and can't give him enough kisses in a day.
*His loves for books continues to grow...this makes me happy.
I can't believe that at the end of this month he will be home 6 months! That's crazy to me and time is certainly flying by. That's why I need to remind myself to treasure even the smallest moments and back a big deal out of the little things. Before I know it, he will be starting kindergarten.
Here are a few pics.....
Sometimes we are crabby....
But MOST of the time we are happy, silly, and cuddly....

First Art Project!
I have wanted to start art projects with Ryan for a while but being that unfamiliar things scare him I wanted to wait until he was a little older. He has made such great progress lately and he is becoming less afraid of thing so I thought it would be a good time to bring on the arts and crafts. I even found a little smock for him at the dollar store and in my opinion he looks so stinkin cute wearing it. At first he tried to lick the paint and didn't like it on his hands but after he got used to the idea he went to town and created 4 beautiful works of art that are all framed!
