Bye Bye to Fall

Today was a beautiful warm and sunny day, probably one of the last days that will be this nice for a long time. Ryan and I took advantage of it and spent lots of time playing outside. Cooper even joined in the fun. It was so much fun but made me a little sad knowing that my favorite season is coming to an end. I must say however, it was a wonderful first fall with my little boy!

"Ahhhh, Ahhhh", Goes the Sheep!

This past weekend we enjoyed another visit to the cider mill. This time Ryan got to....

Spend time with his Uncle Ronnie and Auntie Kati.....

His Grandma and Grandpa....

He also got to eat some yummy donuts......

Go down a slide.......

And....play with sheep!

It was such a great time. The best part of this trip was when my dad said to me how he thought that Ryan's birth parents would be happy because Ryan is so happy. This couldn't be more true. He is happy and is surrounded by so many people who love him to pieces. His birth parents would be very happy to know just how much he is loved!

30

Today is my birthday and I am 30. Although I am not overly thrilled about turning 30, I am very happy with where I am at this point in my life. I have a wonderful husband, a very special little boy as my son, and great family and friends. I guess turning 30 isn't all that bad.

16 Months Old!

Today our little guy is 16 months old. Each month brings something new and exciting and he is certainly doing a good job with keeping us on our toes. He hasn't added any news words to his vocabulary other than Bye which sounds like BAAAAAAAAAAAA. He has also started waving hi and good-bye to people! Ryan has resorted to pointing to things he wants instead of screaming for them. He still hates getting dressed, undressed, and getting his coat put on. Every day this is a battle and I can't figure our why he hates it so much.

He is full of personality....not sure how one little boy could have so much personality but that's what we love about him. He can go from laughing one second to throwing himself on the floor in a tantrum the next. He is so many things...all things that make him so special. I still look at this helpful, happy, impatient, messy, strong-willed, handsome, loving, silly, cuddly, and serious little boy and wonder how we got so lucky. He is such a blessing.

RYAN IS........

HELPFUL.......

HAPPY........

IMPATIENT....

MESSY......

STRONG-WILLED.....

HANDSOME......

LOVING.....

SILLY......

CUDDLY....

SERIOUS....

More Cider and Donuts

This past weekend we went back to a cider mill for more cider and donuts. This time we even brought Cooper along and enjoyed some yummy cider and donuts on a cool fall afternoon. Add it to yet another great fall day!
