New Day

  1. Oh crap! I came down to show Sydney before I take her to school and the waiting to put my make-up on just flew out the window as I watched the new video! That was beautiful and I know that song meant a lot to you. Sydney was so cute looking at the pics and asking 20 questions. "Is he little, is he light...you know not heavy? Can I give him one of my stuffed animals, so he has some..maybe the penguin one, because I don't like penguins anymore:)Who is that boy with him? What's a foster brother? What is that pink thing? Oh it must be a buggy. Mommy try not to get a tear on my face? Don't you know he shouldn't be putting that black thing in his mouth." So funny and cute. She can't wait to meet him. She's trying to sing a song about/to him right now, but she said it might be too long, because it's a Korean song! Oh my gosh, she's cracking me up. The video was beautiful and she wants to see it again, but we have to go and now I have to fix my make-up. Enjoy your day! Love you all! Love, T & Sydney:)

  7. What a blessing for you all. The video is wonderful and I'm pretty sure I should have NEVER watched it at work, but couldn't help myself. Ryan is so wonderful, such a sweet face. He does have a very studious look that is just like Aidan's. Maybe we will have to little professors on our hands! Leanne

  9. Just happened upon your blog. Loved the video. I used to listen to that song over and over and over while waiting for my second child to arrive from Korea 8 years ago.

    Best to you all,

You did such a beautiful job... it shows God's wonderful work in bringing together your family as only He can do! Gosh.. I know exactly how you are feeling.. I remember the first time Isabel crawled up to me and sat in my lap..I just love adoption stories :) Enjoy the rest of your time in Korea, and once the dust settles at home we have lots of us excited to meet him :) Melanie says she can show him what to do with those sunglasses.... kinda :)

  12. So it's me for the third time today! Sydney keeps asking to see the video, so of course we've watched it over and over again and I think I cry more each time, especially when I hear the happiness in your voice at the end! Each time we watch it, Sydney says she is worried about Cooper being home alone, because he looks so sad. She is of course referring to the Christmas picture in the video. She thinks he is at home by himself waiting for all of you:) She has been telling everyone at school about Ryan, where you are at and even the name of the video you sent today. When I picked her up today, her teachers knew all about Ryan:) She can't wait to love her new cousin up (neither can Noah) and I can't wait to see my nephew in person. Jim showed everyone at work the video today and he was getting choked up as well. We'll see you all on Friday:) Can't wait!
    Love you, T
